The APPG on Extreme Poverty held their first Annual General meeting in Parliament, celebrating a successful first year of the Group. Chris Law MP was re-elected as Chair of the Group and two new Vice-Chairs were elected: Nigel Mills MP and Tanmanjeet Singh Desi MP.

The Group also heard from Rozina Haque , Associate Director of BRAC’s Ultra-Poor Graduation Initiative in Bangladesh, on extreme poverty in Bangladesh and steps the UK government should take to support the world's poorest people.
